Composition :

Each 100 9 of cream contains:
Clotrimazole   1.00 g
Inactive ingredients:
Cetomacrogol 1000, Cetostearyl alcohol, White soh paraHin, Liquid paraHin, Glycenn, Propylparaben, Methylparaben, Propylene glycol and Punfled water.
Each 100 ml of solution contains:
Clotrimazole     1.00 9
Inactive ingredients:
Propylene glycol, Isopropyl alcohol to 100 ml
Each 10 gm of Powder contains:
Clotnmazole     0.10 g
Zinc OXide     2.50 g
Inactive ingredients:
Maize Starch, Talc Powder and Colloidal Silicon Dioxide

PHARMACOLOGICAL ACTION :

A broad spectrum antimycotic acting as fungiCide.

INDICATIONS :

The range of Indication is:
1 – All dermatomycoses due to dermatophytes ( e.g. Tnchophyton species).
2 – All dermatomycoses due to yeasts ( e.g. Candida species).
3 – Dermatomycoses due to moulds and other fungi.
4 – Skin diseases with secondary Infection by these fungi. The dermatomycoses mentioned under 1 – 4 include among others
1 . Mycoses of the skin and skin folds
2 . lnterdiqital mycoses (e.g. athlete’s foot).
3 Candida vulvitis.
4 . Candida balanitis.
5 Pltynasls(TInea) versicolor.
6 . Erythrasma.
7 . Otomycosi .
8 Paronychias associated with nail mycoses.

CONTRA-INDICATIONS :

Possible hypersensitivity to clotrimazole or any of the excipients.

WARNINGS :

Dermalin is not for ophthalmic use.

PRECAUTIONS :
General
If irritation or sensitivity develops with the use of ciotnmazole,
treatment should be discontinued and appropriate therapy instituted

This information is intended to aid in the safe and effective use
of this medication. It is not a disclosure of all possible adverse or Intended effects.
The patients shoutd advised to:

1. Use the medication for the full treaunenllime even throO’gh
the symptoms may have Improved. Nctity the physician jf there
IS no improvement after 4 weeks of treatment

2. Inform the physician jf the area of application shows signs of increased irrilation (redness, burning, blistering, swelling,
Oozing) indicative of possible sensilization.
3. Avoid sources of infeclion or reinfection.

DOSAGE AND DIRECTIONS FOR USE :

A sufficient amount is applied to the infected areas 2-3 times
daily and gently rubbed in.The deration at treatment varies according 10 the site and extent of the infection.
In dermatomycoses and yeasts 3 – 4 weeks;

In Candida vulvitis and Candida balanitis 1-2 weeks;
In Erythrasma approximately 2-4 weeks;
In Pityriasis versicolor approximately 1-3 weeks.

Athlet’s foot: Always dry the feet carefully. especially between
the toes.Dermali” preparations can be washed oft and do not slain.

SIDE EFFECTS :

The following adverse reaction have been reported in connection with the use of clalrimazole . erythema, stinging, blistering peeling, edema, pruritus, urticaria, burning, and general irritation of the skin.

PACKING :

Cream : a tube containing 12 or 14 or 15 g cream

Solution: A plastic dropper containing 20 rnl solution.
Powder: A plastic jar containing 10 9 powder.

STORAGE :

Store at temperature not exceeding 30° C. -v..
Keep out of the reach of children.
