Active Ingredients:
Essential phospholipids 300 mg
Vit B1 (Thiamine hydrochloride) 6 mg
Vit.B2 (Riboflavin) 6mg
Vit.B6 (Pyridoxine HCI) 6mg
Vit.B12 (Cyanocobalamin) 6mg
Nicotinamide 30 mg
Vit.E Acetate (a- Tocopheryl Acetate) 6 mg
Inactive Ingredients:
Soya lecithin , Ethyl vanillin, Butylated hydroxytoluene , Ascorbic acid, Wax mixture soya bean A , Gelatin, Sorbitol special, Glycerol, Sodium ethyl hydroxybenzoate, Sodium propyl hydroxybenzoate , Titanium dioxide powder, iron oxide black powder, Brilliant blue, Quinoline yellow , Purified water.

Soft gelatin capsules
Therapeutic Indications :
For acute and chronic liver diseases; for the prevention of recurrence of gall stones; hepatogenic gestoses; psoriasis and irradiation syndrome.
Posology and method of administration :
Unless otherwise prescribed by the physician, 1-2 capsules three times daily to be swallowed with some fluid during meals.
Contraindications :
Not to be used in case of hypersensttivity or allergy to any of the components .
Special warnings and precautions for use :
Seek medical attention if any of these severe side effects occur while taking Hepafort soft gelatin capsules: Severe allergic reactions(rash; hives; itching; difficulty breathing; tightness in the chest; swelling of the mouth, face, lips or tongue) ; feeling of swelling of the entire body; numbness or tingling of the skin.
Interaction with other medicinal products :
None known.
Pregnancy and lactation :
Can be used during pregnancy and lactation, but only according to the physician’s advice.
Undesirable effects :
May cause mild diarrhea; nausea; stomach upset.

Pharmacodynamic properties :
Hepafort provides the diseased liver – the metabolic activities of which are impaired – with large amounts of readily utilizable, high energy “essential phospholipids”. These “essential phospholipids” ideally correspond to the vital endogenous phospholipids in terms of chemical structure, but are even superior to the latter from the functional point of view they are mainly transported into the liver cells incorporated into their membranes and in addition passed on into the bile thus it :
– Normalises disordered liver function and enzyme activities.
– Improves the energy balance of the liver.
– Promotes the regeneration of the liver tissues.
– Converts neutral fats and cholesterol into transportable forms and makes them available for combustion.
– Stabilises the bile physiologically and without side effects.
The combination of vitamins contained in Hepafort soft gelatin capsule guarantees the sufficient supply of vitamins actively participating in the metabolism.
Special precautions for st0rage :
Store at temperature not exceeding 2S’C in a dry place.
