Composition:
Each Capsule Contains:
Ambroxol HCL 75 mg.
Properties:
Ambroxol is the active metabolite of bromhexine. It is rapidly and well absorbed from the GIT causing no disruption of the gastric mucosa. Ambroxol exerts its clinical effect through the breakdown of disulphide bonds of mucopolysaccarides of the sputum. This allows the liquification of the viscous bronchial mucous through decreasing its viscosity.
Indications:
Mucobroxol capsules is used for the treatment of productive cough associated with:
-Bronchitis, Pneumonia, Otitis media, Sinusitis ,Nasopharyngitis Tracheobronchitis and Bronchiectasis.
– Smokers cough
Side effects:
Unlike most of other mucolytics, Mucobroxol causes no disruption of gastric barriers so it is well tolerated.
Contra-indications:
Hypersensitivity to any of the components of the preparation
Dosage:
One capsule once daily
Pack:
Strips of 10 capsules in packs of 2 strips.
