Suppositories
Composition:
Each Suppository contains:
-Hydrocortisone 5 mg. -Framycetine sulphate 10 mg.
-Cinchocaine HCI 5 mg. -Esculoside 10 mg.
Properties:
Sediproct is an effective and well tolerated anorectal preparation for the symptomatic treatment of haemorrhoids and other anorectal disorders.The therapeutic action of Sediproct is attributable to its potent components. Hydrocortisone is a corticosteroid. It is primarily effective because of its topical anti-inflammatory and antipruritic actions. Cinchocaine is a topical anaesthetic which provides temporary relief fromitcbinQand~pain.he.aonbacterial.effect ofnamzcenne prevents and controls the inflammatory process. Esculoside is used to decrease capillary fragility and to improve vascular tone.
Indications:
-Haemorrhoids especially those associated with inflammatory conditions.
-Anal fissures, anal pruritus and proctitis.
-Wound treatment following proctologic surgery.
Dosage and administration:
Unless otherwise indicated, insert one suppository high up into the
rectum at night, in the morning and after defecation.
Contraindications:
Hypersensitivity to any of the active components of Sediproct.
Side effects:
Allergic reactions manifested by local irritation or more extensive rashes may occur in patients with a history of hypersensitivity to any of the components.
Storage:
Keep at a temperature not exceeding 25°C.
Keep-out of-reach of children.
Presentation:
Box of 6 suppositories, 10 suppositories or 12 suppositories.
